Fun Weekend in the Bay Area, Feb 9-10

On Saturday, five of us went up to Mt St. Helena.  I hadn't climbed there for a bunch of years, and we went to Table Scraps, which was developed since I had last visited.  The climbs were short and a bit chossy, but there were plenty of bolts and good moves to be had.  The 10d with a bouldery start had 7 feet of chalky flaky rock before the first bolt, which Dylan attempted to lead, but found a way to avoid doing the crux with any danger.  Dylan and I did a lot of teaching, and Cori got her first lead!!

After getting a very late start, Cori and I went to Bolinas and were in the water by 2:30pm.  The waves were nice, long period peaks around waist high in size.  We both caught many waves, and are excited to go back soon!
